DISNEY NUIMOS
Disney Nuimos are these small cute disney plush dolls that originated from Japan. Nuimos means nuigurumi, which is Japanese for plush and model merged together. I fell in love with these since they arrived in the US and they are a wonderful source of inspiration for me within my design! Plus they make a great Park day buddy! Below are some photos with my nuimos and some of my own designs I created for them!
CREATE AND SKATE
One design I did for my nuimos was to give them their own skateboards. I’ve always had a love for skateboard design ever since I was a little kid and I always thought that was a really cool wait to express your design on something that somebody will use. Back last July shopDisney released some new clothes along with a little skateboard. I decided I thought I could make a better looking skateboard for each of my nuimos. I wanted to skateboard that fit their personality better than a generic one that they all could use. I also wanted to have some thing more specific for each of them because they are all different characters. I was able to buy finger boards and print my design on a sticker sheet and put that on the board so it looked like it was meant to be previously put on there.
I chose these nuimos because I believe that they would be the ones to ride a skateboard. Each board is dedicated to them and matches their personalities.
